    BreadCell consortium meeting was held in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was the premier for our Helmet demonstrator.

    BreadCell consortium meeting was held in San Sebastian. Check out the group photo and a video of our pre-demonstrator skateboard that was featured for the first time there.

    September 2023:
    The BreadCell team participated 12-14.9 Composites 2023 in Italy, 18-22.9 the International EPNOE conference in Graz and 26-28.9 in ICC in Japan. Of course, our science was presented: See  the contributions in EPNOE and ICC!

    BreadCell team attended Paper & Biorefinery conference in Graz. Collaborator Robert Schennach showcased visualization of wood pulp fiber foams and Jana Schaubeder had her very first conference presentation within the project on Interactions between cellulose surfaces and xylan.

    BreadCell safety and sustainability team will participate in the 2nd stakeholder workshop on SSbD chemicals and materials. The aim is to present the methodology to define SSbD criteria for chemicals and materials. Click for more information!

    9-10.2.2022:
    BreadCell team gathered for a consortium meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, finally having the opportunity to meet face-to-face and in hybrid format!

    15-19.11 2021:
    BreadCell researchers from BNN team Andreas Falk and Susanne Resch in the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) TC229 Working Group Meetings held online in November 2021. ISO TC 229 – Nanotechnologies is the international counterpart of CEN TC352.

    WP3 meeting was held in Vienna.

    11-15.10.2021:
    BreadCell researchers Tiina Nypelö and Stefan Spirk participated in European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence international conference in Nantes, France. The next edition of this bi-annual conference will take place in Graz, Austria.

    4-7.10.2021:
    BreadCell researchers from BNN team Andreas Falk and Susanne Resch participated in the Plenary Meeting of CEN TC352 organized online 4th to 7th October 2021. Standardization issues around safety-by-design, nanotechnologies and nanomaterials are addressed by Technical Committee 352 – Nanotechnologies within CEN (European Committee for Standardization).

    BreadCell researchers Tiina Nypelö, Stefan Spirk and Wolfgang Bauer participated in Alumni meeting of Graz academic papermakers association (Akademischen Papieringenieur Vereins Graz) 2021 that was held in Graz Austria and presented the project to the academia and industry in the field of paper engineering.
